Annual
Exams
Your pet’s health is very important to us.
Finding conditions before they become serious problems is the
basis behind annual exams. In the last twenty years medicine
has been using a proactive approach to health care,
preventative medicine, instead of waiting for problems to
occur and treat. Veterinary medicine has followed that path
too! Exams give a foundation of the individual’s health
standards and allow the doctor and client set protocols based
on that individual. An exam is where the vaccine protocol,
senior pet care protocol, alternative treatments and nutrition
is discussed. Exotic animals may hide the fact that they
aren’t feeling well as that is a part of their innate social
group behavior. Routine exams address this issue. As your pet
ages, normal aging conditions may occur that you may not be
aware of. These can be diagnosed early through routine
laboratory exams, during your pet’s annual exam, and as a
result easily and inexpensively maintained before they become
serious.
Our veterinarians do a complete physical exam
