Annual Health Exams
Your pet’s health is very important to us. Finding conditions before they become serious problems is the basis behind annual exams. Exams give a foundation of the individual’s health standards and allow the doctor and client set protocols based on that individual. An exam is where the vaccine protocol, senior pet care protocol, alternative treatments and nutrition is discussed.  Learn more about Annual Health Exams offered at Irving Pet Hospital.

Dental Care
Healthy teeth play a major role in the wellbeing of your animal. Bad breath may be a sign of dental disease. Gingivitis, tartar, and periodontal disease can release bacteria into the bloodstream stressing internal organs, leading to disease. Starting with your pet’s first exam our doctors will check your pet’s mouth for any signs of discomfort or disease. Your doctor will set up an individualized plan for your pet’s healthy teeth and mouth. Learn more about Dental Care offered at Irving Pet Hospital.

IPH is happy to provide care for all of your animal companions! Rabbits, rodents, ferrets, snakes, lizards, turtles, and birds require special care and we are here to help you keep your furry, feathered or scaly friends healthy and happy. Our doctors have a cumulative 16 years of experience working with exotic companion animals.  Learn more about Exotic Pet Care offered at Irving Pet Hospital.

Acupuncture
The prime advantage of acupuncture is safety. There are no harmful side effects from the therapy in common practice.  Indications for acupuncture therapy fall into three categories. First, acupuncture may be the method of choice, selected as the principle form of therapy. Second, it may be appropriate to use acupuncture as supportive or supplementary therapy. Third, acupuncture may be viewed as a backup or alternative therapy when western treatment is inadequate. Acupuncture is always something to consider when your pet does not respond to conventional medicine. Learn more about Acupuncture for Animals offered at Irving Pet Hospital.
